Only religious people should be allowed to legally marry?

Marriage isn't about what it used to be. 50 years ago, marriage was about having a family and supporting it through thick and thin. Today, it gets tough and all of a sudden... BAM, let's get a divorce! What happened in the 'vows' that say till death do us part? Religion played a role in your vows, now today your vows are just words that only apply to when your doing well and happy.
