Installing a 110 plug in concrete house?

Well hopefully somebody has done this before. I have researched online and nobody deals with concrete brick houses anymore. We have an old house and we would like to add a few more 110 plugs where they are needed. I am wondering the best way to do this since its a cinder block wall house. Can you grove out the wall and run a piece of EMT down it and patch it over? Can I even do this? Please help
